My Story
Brushy Creek Pottery was founded in 2022 by Michelle Grana, a passionate ceramic artist who wanted to share her love for pottery with the world. Since then, she has grown, and expanded her work to include a wide variety of both decorative and functional handmade stoneware pottery.
My Process
I use only the finest stoneware clay to create my work and I source my clay from local suppliers. Each of my pieces are brush glazed and handbuilt, meaning I do not use a wheel. I enjoy allowing my pieces to evolve, rather than trying to control them with the use of a wheel. My work intentionally reflects organic shapes and I sometimes allow building marks to show through. I believe being able to clearly see that pieces are made by hand lets their uniqueness shine! I produce my work in small batches and each is one of a kind.

I believe in sustainability and ethical production practices. I strive to minimize our environmental impact and support local communities. I also believe in creating beautiful, decorative & functional pieces that bring joy to my customers!
